Margie's creative spirit was set into motion at a very young age. She spent her favorite moments with her father in their kitchen at home where they played with different cultures of cuisine, canning, or just laughing and discussing life over good home cooked food. With her deep love of the arts, Margie enrolled in culinary school,  four years later receiving her Degree in Culinary Arts and Science with honors. Over time Margie worked hungrily in the culinary field, learning, growing, and focusing on her love for food. While working at a 4 star resort, Margie began working along side chef Jose Rodriguez, and developed an instant friendship and fabulous working relationship. She worked hard to learn and follow his instruction to becoming a stronger chef. Not knowing he would later become her partner. 2 years later, California Inspirations was born. A catering company that encompassed their beliefs in the farm to table movement and allowed the joy of cooking delicious food become one. Margie brings her passion full force with creativity, and imagination, turning fresh and local food into works of art on a plate.
